Optomechanical mounts are used to hold and handle optical elements such as lenses, mirrors, prisms, polarizers and filters. The choice of material (anodized aluminium, non-anodized aluminium, stainless steel) is usually based on the application under consideration. We offer both fixed and adjustable optics holders. Our main supplier of opto-mechanics is Thorlabs, but we can also supply optical elements from other manufacturers if required.
Fixed optics holders
- Lens holders - standard, universal (allows lenses with different diameters to be attached), self-centring
- Filter holders - holders for mounting one or more filters, carousels for 6 or more filters
Adjustable optics holders
- Kinematic tilt mounts
- Tiltable optics mounts(gimbal mounts)
- Translational mounts - allowing movement in individual axes
- Polarizing optics mounts - allowing rotation along the axis of the incident beam
- Prism mounts - suitable for optical prisms and beam splitters
