PHF process heads are designed with industrial environments in mind and cover a wide range of needs. A total of 8 different laser process heads can be expanded with additional Coherent elements, cameras and accessories thanks to the modular system and adapted to your own needs.
Variants of laser process heads
- The laser collimators are optimized for use with diode lasers. They are available for different collimating focal lengths for SMA or QBH terminated optical fibers.
- The process head with fixed spot size is used for soldering or contour welding. The different focal lengths allow a wide variation of spot size to meet the requirements of the application.
- The process head with integrated pyrometer is used for non-contact measurement of the workpiece temperature during work. The head allows for open and closed loop operation with feedback on the laser output. A powerful software package allows control, optimization, documentation and archiving of the entire work process.
- The scanning head is used for quasi-simultaneous welding. Wide range of spot sizes and scanning fields to meet the requirements of the application.
- The scan head with integrated pyrometer enables quasi-simultaneous welding with the advantage of closed-loop control of the working temperature with feedback to the laser power.
- The radial welding head allows simultaneous welding of a radially symmetrical component without rotating the part or optics. The dimensions and optical settings can be adjusted to the size and shape of the part to be welded up to a diameter of approx. 160 mm.
- The radial welding head with integrated pyrometer enables quasi-simultaneous welding of a radially symmetrical part with the advantage of closed loop temperature control. A programmable servo motor allows welding without rotating the part.
- Linear process heads are used for applications that require a rectangular or square work point of larger dimensions. Customized optical layout allows for a wide variation of different focal points.
