Coherent StarCut Tube are fully automated multi-axis CNC laser machines for cutting tubes and flat materials, including medical devices such as catheters, stents, hypodermic shafts, PTCA devices, TAVR, etc.
StarCut Tube machines with a solid cutting platform (SL uses a mineral casting base) offer maximum contour cutting accuracy of better than +/- 5 µm. A choice of fibre laser or the latest Monaco USP laser allows fine cutting of any polymer or metal.
The machines can be fitted with either a fibre or USP laser as standard, the Tube L 600 is also available with both lasers.
