Laser Safety Roller Blinds

Laser safety roller blinds are an elegant and space-saving solution for workplaces where the laser zone only needs to be separated while the equipment is in operation. They are particularly suitable for entrances to laser cells, passages between workplaces or production areas where fixed curtains or walls would restrict normal operation. Roller blinds can be supplied in a manual version with chain operation or with an electric drive, allowing easy integration into automated production lines and safety systems.

Product description

The system uses certified laser safety curtains integrated into a roller blind system. All materials used meet the requirements of EN 12254 and are suitable for lasers in the range of 180 to 11,000 nm. Each roller blind is supplied as a complete system including guide profiles and mounting frame, ensuring reliable operation, long service life and a high level of laser safety. With isoPROTECT Budget material, almost complete darkening of the area can also be achieved.

Like other protective systems from PROTECT-Laserschutz, laser roller blinds are custom-made. The protective material is always selected according to wavelength, laser power, power density, exposure time and application characteristics to ensure the required level of protection for people and the surrounding workplace.

Custom production

All PROTECT-Laserschutz laser safety roller blinds are manufactured individually according to customer requirements. Dimensions, operating method, protective material type and integration into the existing workplace can be adapted.

When designing the solution, we always work from the parameters of the laser equipment, especially wavelength, laser power, power density and application type.
