Wavelength adjustment with Mini TPA without tuning
Autocorrelators typically use a method of splitting the laser beam into two beams and then recombining them to generate the second harmonic (SHG) frequency in a nonlinear crystal. APE's Mini TPA autocorrelator works on a different principle - absorption of two photons. This eliminates the need for angular tuning of the SHG crystal and makes the wavelength tuning process unnecessary.
Switching between collinear and non-collinear modes using Mini PD
Mini PD supports fast and easy switching between collinear and non-collinear measurement modes. While collinear mode provides pulse length measurements with additional qualitative information about the pumping beam, non-collinear mode provides background-free autocorrelation with high dynamic range.
UV range without cross-correlation
Together with the UV Optical Kit, the Mini TPA provides simple pulse width measurements in the UV range from 250 nm to 400 nm - without the need for cross-correlation. Eliminating cross-correlation also shortens the data evaluation process and increases its efficiency.
UV @ 250 nm to IR @ 3200 nm
APE provides a range of interchangeable optical sets from UV @ 250 nm to IR @ 3200 nm for sensitive measurements over a wide wavelength range. With its compact size, the Mini TPA is also the perfect answer to your requirements for space saving and easy portability
