Custom clean environment boxes

The workboxes are ideal for the assembly or inspection of components where the presence of dusty parts must be avoided, typically the assembly of optoelectronic equipment. The boxes are equipped with filtration units (flowmodule) that ensure laminar airflow and, above all, filtration of dust particles of ISO class 5 according to DIN ISO 14644-1

According to customer requirements we realize flowboxes of different dimensions.

  • Welded steel frame, welded, cleaned welds
  • Easy exchange of main filters
  • Powder coated paint
  • Working area of flowboxes covered on three sides either by PVC slats or solid walls (transparent polycarbonate or opaque painted sheet metal fillings)
  • Integrated LED lighting
  • Drawer rails
  • Indication of filter malfunction based on filter resistance measurement
  • The assembly can be supplemented with an ionisation rod

Air filtration parameters

  • Four pre-filters
  • Particulate filter H14: based on most penetrating particle size (MPPS), 99.995% of particles > 0.12 μm and 99.9995% of particles > 0.3 μm
  • Including the possibility of changing the filter from below (inside the cleanroom) using a metal filter cartridge. This makes filter replacement much easier. If required, the conventional method of changing filters from above (outside the clean room) is still possible.
  • The insulation factor is 104 - under the laminar flow module, the air quality is 10,000 times better than in the surroundings
  • For example: an instantaneous environment of 1000000 particles/ft³ corresponds to
  • Environmental cleanliness class 100 according to US Fed. 209E, or ISO 5 according to DIN ISO 14644-1 and better (under laminar flow module)
