Below we present a standard model of a table cover. Our model product creates a safe, closed environment directly on your optical table. The system is designed in compliance with EN 60825-4 and 60825-1 safety standards to allow free movement of persons in the laboratory without the need for special protective equipment and safety training. The robust construction of aluminium profiles and sheets with a matte black paint guarantees maximum radiation resistance and long service life.
- Safety: The model table cover product can protect your laboratory from, for example, radiation from the Coherent Monaco or Coherent Chameleon ultrafast lasers. The laser cover is designed and built in compliance with the EN 60825-4 safety standard.
- Dimensions: The basic model is adapted for enclosing an anti-vibration table measuring 2 m × 1 m; for example, the CleanTop TMC, which you can find in our offer.
- Accessibility: A total of 8 sliding doors allow access to the optics from any side.
- Stability: The laser cover is designed so that it does not touch the table and thus does not interfere with the table's anti-vibration system. Cable glands can also be integrated into the laser cover for safe cable routing.
Thanks to the self-standing frame on four legs, the system does not load the optical breadboard and does not affect the stability of your experiments. Additionally, the cover ceiling with a load capacity of 25 kg serves as a practical storage space for power supplies and other accessories, effectively saving space in the laboratory.
Electronic Safety Systems
Safety is guaranteed by an integrated interlock circuit ensuring automatic laser shutdown when sliding doors are opened, which is a necessary prerequisite for compliance with safety standards.
- Door sensors: The sliding doors have electronic sensors monitoring whether the doors are closed. They ensure the laser is switched off upon opening.
- Emergency stop button for laser shutdown
- Warning beacon: Beacon signaling the operational status of the laser.
