Biological (laboratory) microscopes are designed primarily for everyday work in demanding applications in laboratories, clinics, universities or other scientific institutions requiring high quality optical performance. They use transmitted light for imaging slides, the resulting image is clear and sharp with high quality processing and technical parameters. Biological microscopes are more suitable for time-saving analyses and are mainly used in laboratories of various medical institutions for clinical research (biochemistry, cytology, haematology, dermatology, etc.).
Thanks to a large number of additional accessories, they can be used to perform various contrast methods - phase contrast, polarization or bright and dark field imaging, which is used to observe transparent objects that are not visible with the conventional bright field method.
