Frequency-converted fiber single-frequency lasers

The client requested a system of powerful fiber frequency-converted single-frequency lasers with outputs at wavelengths of 633.10 nm and 534.86 nm. The lasers had to be equipped with the option of rapid modulation of the output optical frequency. The optical outputs were to be implemented into free space, with the possibility of later installation of collimators and single-mode fibers. The beam at 633.10 nm had to have a continuous output power of >3 W and a spectral line width of <20 kHz. For the beam at 534.86 nm, a power of >4 W and a spectral line width of <6 kHz were required. In addition to the control software, a software development kit (SDK) had to be included.

For this task, we chose the Koheras HARMONIK H53 & H63 system.

The H53 system includes a powerful Koheras BOOSTIK single-frequency laser with an output of 1069.72 nm and a Koheras HARMONIK module for generating a second harmonic frequency (beam at 534.86 nm, >4 W, spectral line width <6 kHz).

The HARMONIK H63 system consists of two Koheras BOOSTIK units (1069.72 nm & 1551.10 nm) and a Koheras HARMONIK module for generating sum frequency radiation (beam at 633.10 nm, >3 W, spectral line width <20 kHz).

All optical outputs are realized in free space, with the possibility of mounting collimators and single-mode fibers. SDK is included.
