For this task, we chose the FS5 spectrofluorimeter with a thermostatic cuvette holder, 150 W ozone-generating Xe lamp (output from 200 nm) and a temperature-stabilized photomultiplier optimized for a detection range of 200-870 nm. The high sensitivity (SNR >6000:1), fast acquisition of experimental data and ease of operation make the FS5 a very efficient instrument for luminescence spectroscopy. In steady state mode, it provides absorption spectra and kinetics spectra in addition to excitation and emission spectra, emission maps and synchrotron spectra. It has a built-in reference detector for checking the excitation intensity.
