A new lens delivery concept for efficient production of compact high-precision lenses
Until now, high-precision optical lens systems and arrays have required complex mechanical designs based on sub-assemblies that place high demands on the design and a deep understanding of mechanical tolerances and alignment behavior. This often results in heavy and large lenses. OptiCentric® Bonding 5D MultiAlign technology allows direct alignment and assembly of multiple optical elements in five degrees of freedom (lens tilt, shift, axial position) within a single tube. This not only provides exceptional precision with <1 µm positioning accuracy for all optical surfaces within the assembly, but also higher process efficiency while reducing mechanical complexity.
