Andor has introduced a new series of CB2 sCMOS cameras that expand the possibilities of scientific imaging in areas where every detail and every millisecond counts. The new cameras combine high performance, sensitivity, global shutter and a wide spectral range of 200‑1000 nm, making them suitable for both scientific and industrial applications.
The series includes three variants: CB2 High Resolution for detailed imaging with a 24.5MP sensor, CB2 High Speed for extremely fast experiments up to 1594 fps, and CB2 UV for applications in the ultraviolet range of 200–400 nm.
The cameras are suitable for applications such as astronomy, quantum technologies, biological research, semiconductor inspection or high-content screening. Each model is designed to best meet specific requirements for resolution, speed, and spectral sensitivity.
