The Andor CB2 24B is an ultra high performance scientific camera that combines high sensitivity, speed and global shutter over a large field of view. With 24.5 megapixel resolution and a back-illuminated sCMOS sensor, it delivers images with exceptional detail. A unique 2x2 binning function directly on the chip allows the conversion of the native 2.74 µm pixel to 5.48 µm without increasing read noise, greatly expanding the camera's flexibility in a variety of applications.
Applications include adaptive optics, solar astronomy, cell biology, developmental biology, fluid studies, speckle interferometry, and quantum ion and neutral atom research.
