Coherent has a new tunable laser: the Chameleon Discovery NX, which replaces the previous Chameleon Discovery and Discovery TPC models. It is a femtosecond ultrafast laser with enhanced power that addresses the most demanding requirements of two-photon microscopy and spectroscopy.
The Discovery NX is particularly exceptional with its wide spectral range of tunability, high power, which allows deep in-vivo excitation of all common fluorescent proteins. The laser is also available with a built-in acousto-optic modulator on the laser side, the Total Power Control (TPC) module.
