Optixs on wheels!

Before the beginning of the summer, we did not slack off and took the whole Optixs team on a sports-cultural event under the code name "Poděbrady on wheels". We hit the road one sunny afternoon and after a (nearly) four-hour ride, we rewarded ourselves with a visit to Poděbrady and the local brewery in the early evening. The following day we set off on the return journey and reached our destination with 130 kilometres in our legs. Not even the completely untrained team members shied away from sporting activity!

We rode the road-not-the-road and were not deterred by two punctures or a few pairs of burnt legs and arms. We interspersed our pedal-pounding with a cultural event at the Kersko homestead, where we were faced with the difficult decision of whether to have wild boar with rosehip or cabbage.

It was simply a successful event full of adventure, determination and team spirit, which we will definitely repeat soon!
