Full automation, tray loading system and simplified operation ensure higher productivity at lower labour costs.
Main features of the COHERENT Exactmark 210 TL laser marker:
- Long MTBA cycle unattended operation - up to 30 trays of components in one run
- Automatic material alignment, focusing and mark verification
- User-friendly Laser Framework software, easy to use
The popular COHERENT ExactMark range of compact laser marking systems has been extended with a new range of machines supporting cost-optimized marking of high-volume parts and components. The new ExactMark 210 TL series features flexible tray loading/unloading and positioning with fully automated operation, including marking quality control. This means the machine can process up to 30 trays (e.g. JEDEC trays) in a completely unattended single production run, delivering a huge increase in Mean Time Between Assist (MTBA) compared to marking systems using segmented or rotary workbenches. Overall labour costs are further minimised as minimal operator skill is required due to the user-friendly software.
Traditionally, this level of automation was only available in custom laser marking systems, which were expensive to acquire and maintain. In addition to high throughput and low labor costs, the ExactMark 210 TL series provides markers with higher quality and consistency compared to laser marking systems that rely on manual operators. This eliminates human error in the marking process and maximizes labor yield. In addition, this new marker can accommodate parts up to 40 mm in height and supports standard and JEDEC-type trays.
The ExactMark 210 TL system is offered with a full range of fiber IR lasers ranging from 6 to 95 watts, enabling cost-effective marking of both plastics and metals. It is also offered with the Varia laser, which allows precise adjustment of the laser pulse characteristics to suit a variety of marking tasks.
This makes the ExactMark 210 TL ideal for virtually any industry that needs to mark high volumes of parts, including machine tools, consumables, medical devices and electronic components.
