On 14-15 September 2021, theCzech Plant Nucleus workshop was held to bring together scientists and students from the Czech Republic working in plant biology and to improve collaboration between research institutes.
The organizers and organizing committee of this event was doc. Aleš Pečinka and Dr. Eva Dvořák Tomaštíková from the Institute of Experimental Biology in Olomouc, Dr. Iva Mozgová from the Biological Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences (České Budějovice), Dr. Lukáš Fischer from Charles University in Prague and Dr. Petra Procházková Schrumpfová from Masaryk University (Brno).
This two-day event focused on structural and functional genomics of plants, maintenance of genome stability and epigenetic regulation of gene expression took place at the Fortress of Knowledge in Olomouc and brought a number of very interesting studies and contributions from leading experts from universities and scientific institutes.
