From 13th to 15th November, we participated as partners in another annual LASER conference, this time Laser 64, organized by the Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS, v.v.i.
On the side of speakers and other participants there were representatives of universities and institutes of the Academy of Sciences as well as several commercial companies. The individual topics were very interesting and beneficial and the conference fulfilled its purpose. We also had the opportunity to contribute our expertly informative talk USING EXACT PARALLEL KINEMATICS FOR COMPLEX APPLICATIONS: INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR MODERN ENGINEERING CHALLENGES.
We also prepared a demo unit - a 6-axis hexapod table, on which there was a competition for the fastest setting of the laser beam to a defined point on the target. The participants had the opportunity to experience the precise adjustment of the laser beam through the mirror using parallel kinematics in practice.
We were also very pleased with the evening cultural program, where there was a chance to chat informally with our customers, partners and friends over a glass of wine or a good beer.
