The flexure guides require no maintenance or lubrication and operate without friction or wear. Thanks to their high rigidity, they have a high load-bearing capacity, are resistant to shocks and vibrations, and can be used over a wide temperature range.

High Dynamics Thanks to Parallel Kinematics

In a parallel-kinematic multi-axis system, all actuators act on a common platform. Low moment of inertia and identical designs of both axes enable fast and dynamic motion while maintaining high precision.

Material Variants for Matching Thermal Expansion

The following combinations are recommended to match the thermal expansion coefficient of the platform and mirror:

• aluminium platform for aluminium mirrors,
• Invar platform for fused silica or Zerodur mirrors.
