Line lasers for precise cutting, accurate positioning and efficient inspection
Laser projectors and line lasers enable precise cut guidance, accurate workpiece alignment and visual quality control – all without contact. This saves time, reduces scrap and ensures safe workflows – even with heavy or fragile materials.
- Minimized waste
Precise line projection reduces material losses - Shorter setup times
Fast preparation with no need for calibration - Quality assurance
Visual inspection detects errors early - Safe working
Processing without dust and shards - CAD compatibility
Projection directly from digital templates
Do you face these challenges too?
Challenges
- High material costs caused by waste from cutting heavy slabs
- Demanding requirements for guiding and monitoring the cut
- Difficult alignment of sensitive or hard-to-reach surfaces
- Long setup and alignment times when changing formats
- Safety risks associated with fragments or exposure to dust
Solutions
- Laser lines on bridge saws and CNC machines mark precise cutting edges
- Projectors make it easier to position glass and ceramics using CAD templates
- Cross lasers mark drilling points, ensuring greater accuracy
- Optical guidance significantly reduces waste and shortens setup times
- Machine vision lasers detect cracks or edge defects, ensuring reliable quality control
Applications
Do you want to shorten setup times, prevent errors and produce complex shapes with precision? Our laser projectors project work instructions directly into the field of view – intuitively, quickly and with high accuracy.
Cutting line projection
The laser line precisely marks the cutting edge and can move in sync with the saw bridge. Alternatively, the laser module can be mounted directly on the cutting head and aligned with the plane of the blade.
This ensures that the laser line always keeps the correct orientation, even when the tilt angle of the cutting or saw blade changes. The result is a faster pace of work, a significant reduction in material waste (offcuts) and a higher finish quality.
Cutting wall and floor tiles
The laser line precisely marks the planned cutting path on the material. This allows optimal yield and use of material, increases the quality of the final product and significantly shortens machine preparation and setup times.
CNC machining
In the production of washbasins, kitchen worktops or, for example, stair treads made of marble or granite, lasers are used both for the precise positioning of vacuum cups and for projecting cutting edges at true scale directly from complex design data (CAD files).
Bridge saws
Positioning lasers precisely mark the cutting line on stone blocks or slab materials. This makes it easier to set up and align the material accurately before cutting begins and significantly reduces offcuts.
