Are you interested in technology, electronics, or perhaps 3D printing? Would you like to work with cutting-edge technology that is changing the world?
We are a well-established and continuously growing company specializing in state-of-the-art laser and instrumentation technology, optics, and laboratory equipment. Our technologies help Czech scientists develop cancer treatments and discover new principles of physics; industrial lasers are used to manufacture cars and surgical instruments; and the companies we represent have even supplied components for the James Webb Space Telescope.
We are expanding our service team and looking for a new colleague—whether you are a recent graduate or already have technical experience!
What will you do?
- Install, service, and provide technical support for state-of-the-art equipment at major customers (e.g. Škoda Auto, Valeo, Meopta, and the Czech Academy of Sciences, including the ELI Beamlines, HiLASE, CEITEC, and BIOCEV centers).
- Contribute to the delivery and development of customized solutions from renowned global manufacturers (e.g. Coherent and Physik Instrumente).
- Travel to customers throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia (approximately 2–3 times a week) and occasionally attend professional training abroad (Germany, France, Finland, and the USA).
- Organize your own work, record service activities in the company CRM, and communicate with customers and international partners.
What do we expect from you?
- A secondary-school or university degree in electrical engineering or another technical field, an interest in electronics, electrical engineering, and mechanics, and good manual skills.
- Professional electrical qualification pursuant to Czech Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll. (or we will help you obtain it after joining us).
- A basic understanding of how lasers, motorized drives, imaging optics, cameras, or cooling circuits work is an advantage.
- Conversational English (used in approximately 50% of your written and spoken communication), plus fluency in Czech or Slovak.
- A customer-focused approach, good communication skills, and an eagerness to tackle technical challenges.
- A willingness to learn new things and travel.
What do we offer?
- Varied and meaningful work with state-of-the-art technologies under a permanent, full-time employment contract.
- Attractive performance-based compensation reflecting your work and the results of both your department and the company as a whole, plus profit sharing on completed contracts.
- The possibility of being assigned a company car once you have completed your initial training period.
- Flexible working hours and the option to work from home occasionally.
- A friendly team and a workplace where you can help shape company policies.
- Professional development and regular training at manufacturers' facilities abroad.
- Available benefits:
- Contributions to pension or life insurance
- Gradually increasing annual leave entitlement
- Sports and relaxation together: regular squash, yoga, bowling, go-karting, and tasting experiences
- Larger company events for employees and their families (cycling trips, hiking, and visits to breweries and wine cellars)
- Refreshments at the workplace
