Supercontinuum laser for optical spectroscopy and microscopy

The client's brief was a supercontinuum laser combined with a tunable spectral filter. The laser had to provide a spectral output in the 420-2300 nm region as a minimum, with a total power in the visible region of at least 1.5 W. The required range of the compatible filter unit was at least 420-840 nm (bandwidth scalable from 10-100 nm). The customer also required a variable repetition rate and a complete software development kit (SDK).

For this task we chose the SuperK Fianium FIU-15 supercontinuum laser with variable repetition rate and VARIA filter module.
