In March 2019, we installed a supercontinuum broad-spectrum laser EXW-12 with a filter unit providing tunable output in the range of 400-840 nm at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. The instrument will be integrated into a sophisticated setup for measuring magneto-optical properties of mainly solid-state materials.
System parameters
- SuperK EXTREME EXW-12 supercontinuum generating laser with a repetition rate of 78 MHz, an output power of 1.2 W in the visible spectral region and spectral output in the range ~455 nm to ~2350 nm. The laser also features very good temporal stability of output power < 0.5% and excellent beam parametersM2 < 1.1, beam divergence < 5 mrad
- Computer controlled VARIA filter module, tunable range 400-840 nm, bandwidth variable from 10-100 nm
- 5 m multi-fiber optic output with collimated output for the entire spectral range
