In addition, the lasers deliver the widest GVD precompensation range and highest peak power. All in a compact package.
The 680 nm to 1080 nm re-tuning range enables efficient excitation of a wide range of fluorescent markers, calcium indicators or other long wavelength indicators.
Thanks to careful design, Chameleon Vision lasers retain the same beam parameters as the Chameleon Ultra series, even with dispersion precompensation included, ensuring the lowest possible microscope throughput loss and lowest astigmatism in the sample excitation plane. These properties contribute to optimal 2-photon excitation efficiency and allow high image resolution.
Like other lasers in the Chameleon series, Chameleon Vision lasers are subject to the rigorous industrial HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) testing criteria, which guarantee the highest degree of quality and reliability.
