Based on our experience with cleanrooms, we designed and implemented a 3 × 3 m enclosed cell. The key technological component is the high-performance Spetec SuSi FMS 112 flow module, equipped with an H14 class particulate filter. This laminar flow system guarantees a cleanliness class of ISO 5 or better in the space beneath the module. To prevent contaminants from entering from the surrounding workshop, we configured the system to maintain a constant, slight overpressure inside the cell. As a result, dust particles are forced out through the ventilation grilles, and the cell remains perfectly clean even when personnel pass through. The control panel is mounted on the outer wall, allowing for performance adjustment without the need to enter the cleanroom.
The structure is assembled from sturdy aluminum profiles filled with Alubond panels and clear polycarbonate. The module itself, measuring 1830 × 610 mm, is positioned above the work surface where the highest level of cleanliness is required. On the opposite side, we have left space in the structure for the future installation of a second flow module, which allows the entire cell area to be covered by a clean zone if necessary.
The turnkey delivery also included the installation of durable industrial PVC flooring, LED lighting (4000 K), and a power strip along the wall. Easy handling of larger machines and components is ensured by 1.2-meter-wide double doors. We installed and commissioned the entire system in a single day. After final cleaning, the originally dusty workshop environment was transformed into a fully insulated space ready for demanding technological production.
