FQCW UV continuous lasers

The FQCW266 series lasers are characterized by excellent output beam properties at a wavelength of 266 nm. Regardless of the model, all products impress with their almost unrivaled coherence length of > 1000 m and a spectral bandwidth of < 300 kHz. Variants are available in a nominal power range from 10 mW to 1.2 W.

Stable UV Source for Precise Measurements

FQCW-Series lasers generate continuous UV radiation at a wavelength of 266 nm with a very narrow spectral line (< 300 kHz) and a long coherence length (> 1000 m). Thanks to the TEM00 (M² < 1.3) beam quality, they are suitable for applications where high stability and precision are key, such as Raman spectroscopy, interferometry, lithography, or optical metrology.

Wide Power Range

The laser family covers a power range of 10–1200 mW, allowing the choice of the optimal variant for laboratory experiments as well as demanding industrial applications, such as wafer inspection in the semiconductor industry.

Reliable Operation and Easy Integration

The lasers are equipped with active power stabilization and USB, RS232, or Ethernet interfaces for easy integration into laboratory and OEM systems. Higher power variants also utilize the ACS (Automatic Crystal Shifter) system, which extends the life of the UV crystal and enables long-term stable operation.

Long service life and easy maintenance

  • Long service life and ACS: The integrated Automatic Crystal Shifter (ACS) system optimally utilizes the conversion crystal, which significantly increases its service life and extends the service interval to up to 16,000 operating hours.
  • Cooling: Thanks to the air-cooled aluminum housing, no water cooling circuit is required.
  • Operating gas: For operation, it is sufficient to blow clean, dry air (CDA) or nitrogen (N₂) through the exit window—no internal gas control is required.
  • Remote connection and diagnostics capability
  • The laser is refurbishable (original Crylas refurbishment)
