Wide range of sensors for accurate temperature determination in cryostats. Choosing the right sensor characteristics such as temperature range, accuracy and resolution, resistance to magnetic field and radiation, and sensor format is important for each application. Lake Shore offers Cernox®, silicon diode, GaAlAs diode, germanium, Rox™ (ruthenium oxide), platinum, capacitive and thermoelectric temperature sensors. Depending on the sensor type, different formats (packages) are available such as bare chips, integrated with screw-in capability, etc.
For special requirements, temperature probes are available. The probe provides protection for the encapsulated temperature sensor. Probes can thus be used for specific environments and applications such as liquid or high pressure measurements.
