Luminescence spectrometer with three monochromators
Luminescence spectrometer with three monochromators
T-geometry with one excitation monochromator and two Czerny-Turner emission monochromators
Measurement of photoluminescence spectra in the continuous spectral range 200-5500 nm
Measurement of the photoluminescence lifetime in the spectral range 200-1700 nm and on a time scale from 1 μs to 1 s using the multi-channel scaling (MCS) method
Determination of the quantum yield of powder and liquid samples
The client's task was to extend the FLS1000 photoluminescence spectrometer (installed by our company in 2019) with new components that will enable both efficient measurement of strongly scattering samples and determination of quantum yield of powder and liquid samples.
Our solution
We replaced the single excitation monochromator with a powerful double-coupled excitation monochromator with a focal length of 2 x 325 mm and a level of suppression of unwanted stray light of 1:1010. The spectrometer was further complemented with a compatible integration sphere to enable measurement of photoluminescence spectra, determination of the quantum yield of photoluminescence and measurement of optical reflectance of powder and liquid samples.
