Last week, on 25 - 26 September 2019, the first workshop in the Czech Republic was held at the BIOCEV Centre, where the MicAO 3DSR adaptive optics module from the French company Imagine Optic was presented. This workshop was attended not only by members of the Imaging Methods Laboratory (IMCF, Biocev), but also by other interested persons from Prague, Brno and Olomouc research institutes. This workshop was organized under the auspices of the National Infrastructure for Biological and Medical Imaging Czech-Bioimaging.
MicAO 3DSR was created to increase the localization accuracy of super-resolution localization methods in microscopy, and during practical hands-on workshops, workshop participants had the opportunity to test their own samples using this special module.
On our part, I would like to thank all the members of the BIOCEV Center's Imaging Methods Laboratory, headed by Dr. Ales Benda, for the opportunity to use their superresolution microscope for demonstration purposes and for their excellent cooperation in organizing and running the hands-on part.
Thank you to all participants.
