The equipment of the service laboratory of Cellular Imaging - CELLIM at CEITEC in Brno has been expanded with a full version of Imaris - Single Fullsoftware for 3D visualization and analysis of microscope image data. For microscope users, this is an extension of the existing capabilities for image data analysis in a wide range of fields from cell biology, to embryology, to neurology and tissue research. The license is run on a dedicated Mac Pro workstation with parameters tailored to the analysis and visualization of voluminous data.
Description of the new facility:
The Imaris - Single Full software license consists of the following modules:
- Core - 3D/4D Visualization, Snapshots, Videos
- MeasurementPro - Statistics, 3D/4D shape and intensity measurements, Interactive layout and classification.
- Vantage - Graphical data display - 1D/2D/3D/4D, Comparison of two or more groups of data, Statistical calculations, Trend and outlier detection
- Batch - Creating a universal protocol for bulk analysis, Applying the protocol to different image datasets simultaneously, Option to compare statistical data in Vantage
- Coloc - Colocalization rate, Selection of different colocalization methods, Analysis in 3D/4D
- XT - Matlab/Java/Python compatibility, Public web platform for sharing user extensions - Imaris Open
- Cell - Relationships between cells and their organelles, Measurement of mechanical and structural cell functions, Intuitive units based on cell morphology (nuclei, vesicles, membranes)
- TrackLineage - 2D/3D/4D object tracking (3D tracking), Automatic cell division detection, Cell lineage tracing
- FilamentTracer - Detection and tracking of filamentary structures (dendrites, cytoskeleton, tubules,...), Algorithms for automatic analysis, Possibility of manual processing or manual final editing
