Janis' (Lake Shore Cryotronics) range of flow cryostats can achieve 65K for a wide range of applications. The cryostat is cooled by liquid nitrogen, with the sample itself in the vapor stream of the coolant. This arrangement provides uniform cooling of samples with irregular shapes or low thermal conductivity.
- Temperature range 65 K to 800 K
- Sample placed in a nitrogen vapour stream
- Rapid cooling (under 15 min to 77 K)
- Four-way optical access
- Easy addition of liquid N2 without affecting sample temperature
