Thermophilic sensors up to 5kW

PowerMax from Coherent are sensors for measuring the power of continuous lasers or long pulse lasers. Thermophile sensors use the thermocouple principle, where laser radiation is incident on an absorber layer and converted into heat. An electrical voltage is then generated between this absorber layer and the heat sink.

This series of high power sensors is primarily designed for the measurement of industrial lasers for material processing.

  • Measuring range from 100 W to 5 kW
  • Variants with USB or RS-232 interface where no meter is required
  • The sensors are compatible with LabMax-Pro, LabMax-TOP/TO, FieldMaxII-TOP/TO/P and FieldMate meters.
  • Water/liquid cooled, these need to be connected to an external cooling circuit

ISO 17025 Accreditation

ISO akreditace

All Coherent laboratory calibrations are fully accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and internationally recognized by ILAC, APLAC and IAAC. Certification to ISO 17025 confirms that the calibration laboratory uses valid and appropriate methods and is competent to perform the specified tests or calibrations. For Europe, the German laboratory in Dierburg is used.
