Laser safety goggles with UL-1044 filter
The dark orange UL-1044 polycarbonate filter is a highly effective combination filter. It provides a top-level of protection (up to D, LB6, IR LB8, M, LB8Y) simultaneously in two key areas: for green and UV lasers (in the 315–535 nm band) and for infrared lasers (in the 790–1090 nm band). In addition, it also provides protection against CO₂ lasers (DI LB4). The trade-off for this extreme dual protection is lower visible light transmittance (VLT 15 per cent); the filter is therefore darker.
