The UL-1052 green polycarbonate filter offers broad-spectrum protection with a visible light transmittance (VLT) of 20 per cent. It covers the UV band (D LB7 IR LB4) and provides high protection in the near-infrared region, where it achieves a top rating of D LB6 IR LB8 M LB8Y in the 790–1085 nm range. It also provides protection against CO₂ lasers (DI LB4).
