Active anti-vibration system STACIS 4

The customer needed an active anti-vibration floor for a planned electron microscope, which would be an integral part of the newly built, renovated workplace or laboratory floor.

After reviewing the technical requirements of the electron microscope manufacturer NION, which are among the most stringent, we designed a suitable solution, the TMC STACIS 4 active anti-vibration system, including the top floor.

The TMC Stacis 4 anti-vibration system is literally hidden in the laboratory floor in this project. It is a system with four active isolators. The system measures vibrations in the floor, analyzes them, and creates invisible counter-movements in real time, thereby eliminating vibrations that would otherwise interfere with the microscope's measurements and limit its imaging capabilities.
