Coherent’s HighLight DL series of industrial diode lasers are extremely powerful, fiber-coupled systems delivering continuous-wave (CW) power ranging from 1,000 W to 4,000 W. They are designed as comprehensive (“all-in-one”) solutions for the most demanding industrial applications in metallurgy, the automotive industry, and semiconductor manufacturing. These systems offer unmatched efficiency and reliability in metal heat treatment, such as localized hardening, laser cladding, or brazing.
Extreme Efficiency and Cost Savings
With a wall-plug efficiency of up to 45%, these lasers minimize power consumption and drastically reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
Cooling without deionized water
The diode modules are conduction-cooled, meaning the system does not require expensive deionized cooling water to operate. This significantly reduces maintenance requirements.
Two industrial designs (HPR and HPS)
The HPR series is optimized for installation in a standard 19" rack, while the HPS series features a freestanding cabinet with a fully integrated water/air cooling unit (chiller).
