GeoLasHD

GeoLas HF is a new generation laser ablation system for all types of LA-ICP-MS elemental and isotope analysis from Coherent. The system, based on the powerful COMPex excimer laser, is a unique setup containing a high quality stable optical path, a microscope and an HD camera system to capture the sample and ablation process. The new intuitive EAGLE control software enables real-time sample and ablation tracking and seamless sample mapping with the option of adding an external overlay image.

Key Features

  • Ultra-short wavelength: 193 nm for clean ablation on any material
  • Schwarzschild ablation lens for the widest beam passage while maintaining optimal crater flatness.
  • HD camera and EAGLE software for wide area sample inspection with micron resolution.
  • Easily washable sample container in multiple formats for stable and assignable ICP-MS signals.
  • Accuracy in the micron and smaller units for x-y-z area, bi-directional mass spectrometry control to ensure highest possible process controllability.
