Aleš Jandík, as one of the managing directors of Optixs, is responsible for the business and financial aspects of the company. He is also a product specialist specializing in scientific cameras, systems for materials research and spectroscopy. He studied Physical Electronics at the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering (CTU), and wrote his master thesis on fractal diffractive structures.
At Optixs he enjoys overcoming new challenges, whether it concerns the company's operations or delivering a product for a new order: "It often happens that even though I have already delivered the same type of scientific camera for a similar application, for example, I encounter a completely new problem with a new application that requires a unique solution." Aleš Jandík has been part of the Optixs team since the company's inception and has been involved in many important projects over the years: delivering large-scale material measurement systems for basic research or assemblies of spectrographs, detectors and cameras.
Outside of work, Aleš devotes most of his free time to his family and four children, enjoys photography, cycling and skiing.
