Quantum Diamond Microscope

The Quantum Diamond Microscope QDM.IO combines NV center technology with a wide-angle microscope for unrivalled sensitivity in magnetic field mapping. Using a diamond sensor with nitrogen vacancy defects, it allows the magnetic properties of samples to be imaged over an area of up to 4 × 4 mm². This benchtop system provides correlated magnetic and optical measurements with nanotesla sensitivity and displays both the intensity and direction of the local magnetic field. QDM.IO is suitable for a wide range of applications, from the study of 2D materials, photovoltaics, and electronic components to paleomagnetism and biomagnetism, where it is necessary to monitor the fine distribution of magnetic fields in real time.
