Do you want to learn more about the emerging method of super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, which reveals even the finest molecular architecture and ultrastructure of organelles that traditionally required visualization with an electron microscope, and at a previously unrecognized quality and speed?
We invite you to attend an upcoming virtual workshop hosted by ANDOR entitled"Expansion Microscopy Webinar" on Wednesday, February 3.
Program:
- Webinar entitled "Revealing the Nanoscale Organization of the Cell Using Expansion Microscopy"
- Q&A session
- Live demo of DragonFly and ExM demonstration
The webinar will be hosted by Professor Paul Guichard, ExM expert and head of the Centriole Architecture Lab at the University of Geneva, who will discuss not only the basic principle of expansion microscopy but also other key topics:
- The main differences between existing ExM protocols
- Examples of ExM applications in cell biology and parasitology
- Completely new approaches related to ExM
Finally, there will be a Q&A session and online demonstration of the multimodal confocal imaging platform -Dragonfly, showing how ExM enables high-resolution 3D imaging by visualizing actin filaments on a brain tissue sample.
The virtual workshop will take place in two time slots:
11:00 - 13:30 CEST -> REGISTER here
17:00 - 19:30 CEST -> REGISTRATION here
Please feel free to share the invitation with colleagues you think might also be interested in attending this event.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
