Laser protection windows are used as viewing windows of completely covered laser systems or as viewing windows in protective walls and roller shutters. The protective windows allow visual inspection of the laser system and, in the case of laser handling, without the need for additional protective equipment such as goggles for laser work outside the laser booths.
Depending on the laser and its parameters that the laser windows are designed to protect against, the windows are available in polycarbonate, acrylic or various types of glass, including variants with steamed dielectric layers for the highest degree of protection.
To determine the correct filter , we need to know the following laser parameters:
For continuous lasers
- Wavelength (nm)
- Laser power (W)
- Beam diameter (mm)
For pulsed lasers
- Wavelength (nm)
- Energy in pulse (J)
- Pulse frequency (Hz)
- Pulse length (s)
- Beam diameter (mm)
If you are not sure about the parameters of your laser, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can determine the right model of goggles based on your laser application, where we also take into account the comfort of wearing the goggles and where we have special frames suitable for wearing over dioptric glasses.
