Blue and violet lasers (typically 405–450 nm) are characterised by high absorption in a wide range of materials, making them ideal for precise microablation. However, their visible, high-energy radiation poses an extreme risk of photochemical and thermal damage to the retina. These wavelengths must be reliably blocked in accordance with standard EN 207. Furthermore, specially designed yellow or orange filters maintain excellent visibility of the working area.
