Shamrock and Kymera spectrographs

Andor spectrographs are suitable for demanding scientific applications as well as for routine measurements. The proven Shamrockspectrographs are complemented by the new Kymera spectrograph series with a range of technical innovations. Thanks to a comprehensive modular concept, the spectrographs can be configured according to the desired application or customer requirements.

The advantage of Shamrock and Kymera spectrographs is direct software and hardware compatibility with all Andor cameras and detectors (CCD, EMCCD, ICCD, InGaAs, sCMOS).

  • Motorised grating head with up to four gratings
  • Technology - Adaptive Focus - automatic control of the spectrograph focus, e.g. when changing detector or grating

  • Automatic identification of the grating head using xPressIDTM RFID on Kymera spectrographs
