Stabilized HeNe lasers

Frequency and amplitude stabilized Helium-Neon lasers from the German manufacturer SIOS Messtechnik are the top of the range among stabilized lasers, finding use not only in precision interferometry but also as frequency standards.

Stabilized HeNe lasers with a wavelength of 632.8 nm from SIOS Messtechnik are characterized by their high coherence length, frequency stability, extremely fast rise time and high power stability, among other features. They thus serve beyond as highly stable sources for laser interferometry or as frequency standards.
The advantages of HeNe lasers are their ease of use, compact design, adjustable operating temperature range, absolute frequency certification or, for example, the possibility of coupling into an optical fiber with the possibility of backscatter isolation.
