WaveView

WaveView, the third generation of software developed specifically for HASO wave analyzers, includes more than 150 functions and add-ons that offer advanced determination of the Point Spread Function ( PSF ), Modulation Transfer Function ( MTF ), Strehl criterion and M2 parameter (for calculating the propagation of electromagnetic fields in different planes).

Thanks to the WaveView metrology software:

  • display key beam parameters in real time (curvature, 3D focal position, phase, intensity, X and Y axis tilt, etc.)
  • reconstruct the wavefront using zonal or modal methods
  • display reconstructed wavefronts using Zernike polynomials (for circular pupils) or Legendre polynomials (for rectangular pupils)
  • display wavefront maps and intensity distributions
  • visualize raw data from the camera
  • Examine the point diagram in detail or use the PSF and Strehl criterion to obtain detailed information about the beam focus

WaveView is supplied together with the HASO4 First wave analyzer. This user-friendly software offers the ability to layout the screen according to the user's needs and remote control via Ethernet or WiFi connection on Windows 7 (32/64bit) computers.

WaveTune

The easy-to-use WaveTune adaptive optics control software with an intuitive, user-oriented interface is a unique application that combines wavefront measurement and correction with extensive instrument diagnostics. WaveTune is perfectly adapted to HASO wavefront analyzers and a wide range of active optical components, including Mirao 52e deformable mirrors. WaveTune drives active optics and wave analyzers in a feedback loop and calculates commands based on the measurement results from the HASO wave analyzer, which it then sends to the deformable component (e.g. Mirao 52e deformable mirror). WaveTune is optimized for high-power laser applications.

The WaveTune software offers the possibility to:

  • diagnostics of wavefront sensors and active optical components
  • Wavefront measurement
  • display of deformable mirroractuator status, applied voltage and 3D mirror shape
  • Wavefront correction in open or closed loop systems
  • generation of the target wavefront - by adjusting the tilt, curvature and high frequency aberration independently of the actual measurements or theoretical values obtained using Zernike polynomials
  • camera diagnostics allowing the display of raw images
  • measurement of the interaction matrix
  • display of the effects of individual actuators on the interaction matrix

WaveKit

An optional add-on to the HASO4 First Wave Analyzer is the WaveKit SDK (Software Development Kit) - an API (Application Programming Interface) software development kit available in various programming languages(C, Matlab, LabView) that allows you to integrate Imagine Optic's wave sensors or other adaptive optics systems into your own software applications. Imagine Optic's WaveKit is designed for optical metrology or adaptive optics scientists who want to develop custom applications based on or integrated with Imagine Optic systems.

WaveKit contains more than 250 functions and is available in 2 versions: one focused on optical metrology(WaveKit Metrology Edition), the other on adaptive optics applications(WaveKit AO Edition).
