Ing. Ondřej Pavelka

Ondřej focuses on the development and production of custom systems within the OptiXs team. As part of his studies at the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University, he studied the optical properties of nanoparticles, and thus spectroscopy is the closest to his OptiXs application portfolio. However, he enjoys working on problems in a wide range of areas such as fine positioning, microscopy, design of advanced optical systems, 3D modelling and data processing and analysis.

Ondřej is also part of the OptiXs service team, where he is responsible for technical support for selected instruments from vendors such as Andor, Zygo and Coherent.

What he particularly enjoys about working at OptiXs is the variety of work and the opportunity to get access to the leading technologies in the field. In his free time, he enjoys sports (volleyball, tennis, cycling, skiing, hockey), reading, movies and playing guitar.
