Full spectrum solar simulators are specially developed light sources that simulate the spectrum of the sun as accurately as possible. They are usually based on Xe lamps, which have a spectrum that is closest to the spectrum of sunlight compared to other available sources. Sunlight simulators are also equipped with all the components that are necessary to ensure the desired spectral shape, uniformity of irradiation area, temporal stability and illumination level (AM filters, homogenizers, collimating lenses, etc.).
LOT Quantum Design 's solar simulators have an excellent spectral match to the solar spectrum (Class A; IEC 60904-9 standard).
