The Diamond J-1000 is a series of sealed pulsed CO2 lasers with a maximum power of up to 1 kW in a fully integrated and compact housing. By incorporating the RF source directly into the laser source, this laser series completely eliminates the RF cable, further increasing laser reliability and simplifying integration into a workstation or robotic machine.
Available in 10.6 μm and 9.4 μm wavelengths, the unique design of the J-1000 series incorporates a range of high-performance features that make it suitable for use in space-sensitive applications including converting, cutting, engraving, punching and drilling paper, plastic film, plastic, glass, carbon composites, textiles, wood and even thin metals. The RF power module is field serviceable without the need for soldering. A complete laser diagnostic suite is accessible via the internet and allows proactive service without restricting operation.
