FLS980 luminescence spectrometer

The FLS980 from Edinburgh Instruments is a computer-controlled modular spectrofluorimeter that allows the measurement of not only steady state luminescence spectra, but also fluorescence decay and phosphorescence lifetime. This modular system combines high sensitivity with high spectral resolution and excellent suppression of unwanted stray light.

  • Computer-controlled rotating tower to accommodate up to 3 diffraction gratings
  • Enclosed design to prevent dust from entering the beam path
  • Spacious sample chamber allowing sample access from all horizontal and vertical directions
  • Compatible with modern light sources and detectors
  • Computer controlled aperture (attenuator)
  • Self-calibration during system initialization
