As green lasers operate in the visible spectrum (typically 532 nm), special alignment goggles certified to the EN 208 standard can be used for aligning optical paths. These filters do not block the beam completely, but selectively allow part of it to pass through, thereby reducing its power to a level that is safe for the eyes (corresponding to Class 2, max. 1 mW). This enables the operator to carry out a precise and safe visual inspection of the visible beam directly.
